COSMEBIO is the leading ecological and organic cosmetics professional association. It brings together all of the players in the cosmetic industry and currently represents more than 350 members in France and abroad. These members include cosmetic laboratories, distributors, contract manufacturers and raw material suppliers.

Cosmebio labels offer a guarantee to customers that the labeled cosmetics they purchase comply with Environmental standards and are truly organic. Specifications are subject to change as they are constantly updated and improved as research progresses and technological means and global regulations evolve. Within this context, national specifications are updated in order to integrate new European specifications set by the COSMOS standards.

Two of our trademark logos are registered with the INPI (French National Institute for Intellectual Property). These logos distinguish two certification standards approved by an independent certification body.

These easily identifiable labels attest that product composition complies with the following criteria:
BIO Label
- At least 95% natural ingredients or derived from natural sources.
- At least 95% of plant ingredients are produced by Organic Farming
- At least 10% of product contents are produced by Organic Farming
Eco label :
- At least 95% natural ingredients or derived from natural sources.
- At least 50% of plant ingredients are produced by Organic Farming
- At least 5% of product contents are produced by Organic Farming
